Interesting concept! Especially the UV—it’s like a spotlight for everyone’s dirty clothes. Haha!

The UV actually just charges the glowstones, which then act as a diffuser. The weirdest part is all the bugs it attracts and the toads lining up to eat them. It’s like I set up a big blue dinner plate for them.
@Marlo
Oh, so the flowers are just light-up ones, not actually glowing from the UV? Either way, pretty neat idea!

Yep, it’s something I started working on for my mailbox project.
Really interesting! Not sure if I totally love it or not, but leaning towards yes. Do you have a plan for future maintenance on the LED boards? Are the UV strips low voltage? I’m assuming the power supply would be the main thing to replace down the line, but I always think worst case.
@Marlow
It’s powered by a 200-watt, 12-volt low-voltage transformer that also runs my mailbox lights. If anything blows, I’ll basically have to chip it out.
That’s some beautiful work!
Bet the police are big fans!

Here’s some Ring footage of them coming by to tell me!
Love the look and functionality! Where did you find everything?

Got the epoxy and waterproof UV LEDs from Amazon and the glowstones from Temu.
