This is how they need to build these more often for the LED versions. The squirrel cage looks more like the originals and the tip is a great touch too!

Yess! I had some very nice folks from NDF demo these for us when they were quite new, really nice tech and design. I think I remember them being connected to the former Philips lighting branch, maybe someone here knows.
The version of these bulbs I got shown had a bit trouble dimming in the first few percentages, but at full they were wonderful.
