So in LEDs, there are these things called McAdams ellipses. These are used to measure the variance in color rendering/output either within a single light or with in a batch of lights. The more ellipses the greater variation that is visible to the human eye. Because of this, two lower quality lights by the same manufacturer in the same color temperature can have a 3X or greater McAdams ellipse which would cause visible color variations but be within the standards of what that manufacturer deems acceptable for that fixture/price point. For large scale commercial jobs, manufacturers will try to ensure that the LED COBs used in the fixtures used are from the same bin — if you are familiar with fiber arts, think of this like a dye lot, it’s LEDs that have been grouped together because they are spectrally the most similar — but because I don’t do contractor grade residential work or own a house, I’m not sure if there is a way to ensure the lights are coming from the same bin/are within <3X McAdams ellipses for something like this.
Yeah the left definitely looks cooler. You could swap the bulbs over if they’re removable to see if it’s still noticeable.

Thank you, these come with switchable temperature settings so hopefully I’ll be able to just change it without opening up the ceiling.
@Quin
They are 100% disparate. Yes, by code they absolutely need to provide access to the CCT switch/splices for service. No need for drywall work.
@Quin
Ooooh posh. Yeah just slightly colder so shouldn’t take much adjustment.
Yes.
Yep, definitely different. That would drive me insane.
Personally, I’m not a fan of switchable CCT. It’s something you typically set and forget, and you often have to sacrifice some lumens for the switchable CCT versions and it’s just another thing to reduce reliability. I’d suggest taking the bit of time to figure out what color temperature you want and just getting that (or something tunable that can be adjusted on the fly from an app).
What brand are they?

These are Halos
Yes, I totally agree with your observation.
Binning.
Different lots or improperly manufactured.
