Hey everyone, we just moved into a 2-bedroom apartment and realized the bedrooms don’t have any lights! I have a 9-month-old son, so I don’t want to use corded lamps that he could mess with or knock over. Also, I can’t drill into the walls or ceiling, so I’m looking for an adhesive-mounted light. Ideally, it would be battery-operated or rechargeable. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
You could try those LED puck lights! They’re battery-operated and usually come with adhesive backing. Super easy to stick on the ceiling or walls, and you can control them with a remote. I use them in my closet, and they work great.
Check out those peel-and-stick LED panels. They’re flat and give off really good light, plus most are rechargeable. I’ve got one in my hallway—no drilling, no fuss. Just make sure to get a strong adhesive so it stays up.
I recommend rechargeable motion sensor lights. They stick with adhesive and only turn on when someone’s in the room, so you’ll save battery life. I use them in my kid’s room, and they’re perfect for late-night diaper changes without waking them up too much.
Have you thought about smart LED strip lights? You can stick them along the ceiling, and they’re great for ambient lighting. Plus, no drilling and they come in rechargeable versions. I use mine with Alexa, and it’s super convenient.
Another option could be battery-powered light fixtures that look like traditional ceiling lights. I found some online, and they stick right onto the ceiling with adhesive strips. They give off good light and don’t look cheap!
